FREE SEMINAR WITH RENOWNED LIFE COACH AND LONG-TIME FIBROMYALGIA PATIENT, MARTHA BECK, TO LEARN DIFFERENT WAYS TO COPE WITH FIBROMYALGIA
Best-selling author, renowned life coach and 30-year fibromyalgia patient, Martha Beck, will be hosting a free seminar in Atlanta on August 3 to show community members with fibromyalgia different ways to cope with the painful disorder. Some tips include physical and mental visualization techniques to help people relax and deep-breathing exercises.
Martha will be joined by Lynne Matallana, president and founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA), and members of the NFA-affiliated Atlanta support group. Lynne will share her personal story about her fibromyalgia challenges and how she founded the NFA.
Additionally, participants will learn about Know Fibro, an educational initiative offering a wide range of useful information, resources from leading experts, easy-to-use tips found in a downloadable book and FibroGuide, a self-management program that can be personalized to meet each person’s needs.
After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to share their personal stories and experiences with fibromyalgia in a video booth to help inspire others.
Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
